BitDefender Releases List of Top Ten Malware for November 2008
According to BitDefender's latest report on the top ten e-threats for November 2008, fake anti-virus software were counted highest in number.
BitDefender said that the first three spots went to multiple versions of the Fake Antivirus Trojan, aggregating nearly 37% of the top e-threats in November 2008. Web links pointing to this e-threat spread through different sources like existing malicious products on computers, concealed redirections on malicious web pages and spam.
