50,000 Spyware Infected Systems Detected in the UAEThe US based security company, Trend Micro, informs that almost 50,000 systems in the UAE are affected by spyware programs that can be used for stealing private information. Trend Micro indicates that the statistics show an increment of around 150% in 2007, but this could go even higher. After analyzing the increase, Trend Micro cautioned users to be careful of new sites while making heavy purchases during the Christmas. The security firm also added that holiday shopping is the most convenient time for hackers to use spyware, key-loggers and other net methods to divulge personal details from users.
