Sophos Released its ‘Security Threat Report 2009’Security company Sophos has released its Security Threat Report 2009 that assesses the threat scenario over the past twelve months (January-December 2008) and attempts to forecast the emerging trends for 2009, as reported by Laptop Security blog on December 9, 2008. Security experts said that an interesting observation of the report is one fresh malware-laden web page that arises in every 4.5 seconds and there has been a five-time increase in sinister e-mail attachments by 2008 end compared to the figures in the beginning.
