McAfee - TMS Redirecting Traffic to Malicious Websites

According to McAfee Avert Labs, spammers are getting trickier, as rather than sending victims towards a single site, web links lead them to a certain 'Traffic Management System' (TMS) that connects to a varied domain each time a user clicks on the links.

With the TMS, it is harder to trace the origin of the spammers. Also, the malware-infested websites can be concealed from the sites' administrators, which, according to McAfee, helps to keep the website's infection unrecognized for an extended time period, as reported by eSeucityPlanet on January 7, 2009.
