Sunbelt - Trojans Topped the List of Malware Threats for December 2008
Sunbelt Software has come up with its data dump that lists the most prevalent spyware and malware threats, and Trojan attacks were present in the list of Top Ten rankings in December 2008.
The security firm revealed that Virtumonde Trojan was the most common Trojan which estimated for around 5% of the samples examined by Sunbelt in December 2008. Trojan.DNSChanger.Gen was at the 10th place with less than 1% of the total samples. The only non-Trojan attack which marked entry in the list was the Rootkit, TDss.Gen threat at 4th place with 1.88% of all samples.
