Kerrville Doctor Held Guilty for Child PornographyA Kerrville-based doctor was found guilty with four child pornography charges in federal court in San Antonia (US) on January 21, 2009, as reported by DailyTimes on January 22, 2009. Dr. David Winkler was taken out of the courtroom after being found guilty of one receipt and three possession charges. He was sentenced up to 50 years imprisonment and fines of around $1 Million on charges of possession of child pornography. The news reports revealed that nearly two years ago (2007), Winkler was accused with five child pornography related charges after agents with the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement linked Winkler and several others to paid members only sites.
