Dentist Loads Spying Software onto Ex-Fiancée’s Computer

The High Court in UK has held Mark Singh, a dentist based in UK, responsible for allegedly installing malware on the laptop of Moira Walsh, his former fiancée since their relationship terminated. Thinq.co.uk reported this on January 25, 2011.

State the reports that Walsh and Singh came together during 1999 to establish a horse business in UK's Leicestershire; however, at one time one of their horses, a precious male equestrian couldn't meet up to their anticipations, as a result, their business faltered. This led to the souring of their relationship and they ended up in court each striving to win the ownership of their Italian villa, Vale Cottages, as well as the engagement ring.

Reportedly, it became evident, as the case proceeded and which's still continuing, that Singh, in an attempt to keep track of Walsh's activities, installed spyware on her laptop so he could collect clues that would have barred her from claiming the joint property.

One interesting aspect of the spyware, whose name isn't known, is that because of it, Judge Purle ordered Singh for paying his entire share of the case's costs up to now. The amount stands to some 130,000 pounds, reports thinq.co.uk.

Said Judge Purle that he felt as if Mr. Singh, in a primitive disposition, exuded the most ungentlemanly attitude, to describe it at its minimum. Telegraph.co.uk published this on January 25, 2011.

Further according to the reports, Singh is said to be fighting Judge Purle's ruling over the cost reimbursement point at the Civil Appeal Court.

Stated Michael Roberts the dentist's lawyer, Walsh seemed to be enjoying support because of the compassionate stance the Judge extended in her favor, whereas Singh, who was put to a rather unfair treatment had been left in a ruffle. Telegraph.co.uk published this.

Conclusively, specialists on Internet safety remark that incidences wherein spyware is used to spy on relationships are matters of severe concern. It's more valuable when a victim is monitored over his Internet activities, general computing operations, or cell-phone than ever if he is hurt or manipulated, just like it has occurred in the Singh-Walsh incidence.
