Gordon Ramsay Sues Wife’s Father over Hacking

The craggy-faced popular chef Gordon Ramsay, who keeps cursing, has filed a suit against his father-in-law on grounds he employed spying software for infiltrating his work as well as personal e-mails. NakedSecurity reported this on August 8, 2011.

There were details about Ramsay and his wife's private lives in the e-mail along with discussions surrounding their 4 kids as also plans describing their forthcoming skiing holiday. Additionally, the e-mail contained secret information on financial and legal issues. According to Ramsay, his wife's father arranged a detailed spying scheme against his wife and him resulting in Mrs. Ramsay abandoning her family.

And as per court documents, Chris Hutcheson, the chef's spouse Tana's father who was earlier Gordon Ramsay Holdings' chief executive is charged with taking out 1.42m pounds out of the firm's coffers for meeting the expenses of his 2nd wife along with family, while also expending 5,000 pounds/month for another mistress.

As per the writ, Tana engaged one clandestine spy-ring for gaining access to the chef's PC folders from the Westminster headquarters of the firm.

The writ also states that Mr. Hutcheson infiltrated the firm's folders numerous times as also included his actual wife's name among all other employees who were enrolled in the firm's salary list and issued cheques showing 5-figures on his own name. He then issued separate cheques worth 20,000 pounds for himself followed with making a 1m euros transfer into a bank account he held in France.

But, the Hutchesons strongly refute all allegations against them followed with introducing a different assertion charging the television chef with unfair dismissal.

Meanwhile, since all the Hutcheson members' computers were origins of the hack, the lawsuit named each of the members.

The lawsuit unsurprisingly adversely affected rapport between the chef and Tana's family that once was extremely intimate with him.

Apparently, Ramsay had suspected illicit operations with his firm's money. So he engaged one detective, who exposed evidences of the hack followed with inequitable payments in favor of family members.

Conclusively, security specialists state that to keep one's business and private life unblemished unlike Gordon Ramsay, proper defenses must be deployed against malware assaults.
