Sex Video Apparently of Miley Cyrus Circulating Online but Actually Dropping Malware

Miley CyrusNot even one year (2011) has passed that another time the rumor is spreading on the Web that certain sex tape on Miley Cyrus can be obtained from a particular Internet site. The gossip kicked off from Twitter the micro-blogging website on the morning of September 27, 2011 and in just 12-hrs the short message, as is typical of Twitter, having a web-link leading onto various pornographic sites different from the previous case, massively circulated online, while still continues to do so, reported Technology.gather.com in news on September 27, 2011.

Moreover, if anyone clicks the web-link, a PC-virus becomes active and the malware instantly isolates the information pulled down from the net.

And when the web-link is deactivated, the sex video, on playing, shows a porno actress looking similar to Miley Cyrus in a sexual act with a strange male. Albeit the female extraordinarily resembles the "Hannah Montana" super actress (meaning Miley Cyrus) of the Disney, it is noticeable that she is older and heavier compared to the actual 18-year-old Cyrus.

Furthermore, following the web-link can prove dangerous, particularly if there isn't a proper virus protection on the end-user's PC that would've blocked sites advertising adult films or 'free sex.'

Meanwhile, Miley Cyrus hasn't admitted to the rumor, although tweets about certain sex video are constantly proliferating across Twitter in an incredible number, caution security researchers.

The researchers remark that an enormous rise in celebrity associated malicious campaigns against Facebook and Twitter like widely used social-networking websites have been observed during the recent months. As a result, they suggest that visitors to such websites must examine as well as ensure that their accounts' privacy settings are appropriately configured; and never follow web-links which offer photos or films of famous personalities, rather go to specially created celebrity websites for knowing the latest regarding their most admired celeb.

Conclusively, a case of cyber-criminals targeting Miley Cyrus isn't the lone celebrity attack. During January 2011, a hacker had hijacked and misappropriated the social-networking account of Selena Gomez, popular among teenagers, after the crook, "PkinJOr" added derogatory posts from her profiles on Twitter and Facebook, reports stated.
