Internet Society and ITU Partner Towards Combating Spam

The Internet Society and ITU (International Telecommunication Union) recently endorsed an agreement towards eradicating junk e-mails together as spam continues to make 80% of total e-mail being exchanged globally, published ZDNet.com dated November 6, 2014.

It maybe noted that Internet Society represents the world as a non-profit organization established for pioneering Internet-related policy, education as also standards, while ITU belongs to the United Nations and works like one specialized agency accountable for matters connected with communication and information techniques.

The joint working of the two organizations will enable formulate methods for building a long-run capability towards solving the problem of spam within emerging nations, as also it will undertake combined cooperative activities for meeting more-and-more information requirements regarding ways of achieving the same.
