Melbourne-Situated Cyber Miscreant who Spread Child Porn gets Jail

Kenneth Palliser of Melbourne who repairs computers is facing charges of proliferating child pornography widely through web-links leading onto PC-virus, the web-links he shared with victims to make them download the disturbing graphic files, published 9news.com.au during the end-week of August 2015.

Pretending to be a beautiful young woman on the Web, Palliser made boys of high school age to become friendly with him on Facebook after which he thrust the graphic images to three innocent victims.

Palliser further sent similar web-links, i.e. those that downloaded virus, disguised as a survey of myki public transportation system, however, delivered abusive images of children, according to his trial proceedings during April 2015.

Meanwhile according to Colin Mandy the lawyer hearing Palliser's case, the accused tried contaminating Web-surfers with exposed pictures, a few even showing ghastly sexual acts, thus published 9news.com.au.

At the plea hearing of Palliser at the Court of Victoria County during the end-week of August 2015, Mandy told that in 2010, Palliser was on one mission i.e. distributing child porn across the Web. According to Mandy, Palliser's offence could affect a still greater number of people.

Palliser also admitted committing two other offences when he erred in following the obligations of lifetime reporting within the purview of Sex Offenders Registration Act implemented during 2007 in connection with child pornography crimes.

Judge Gabriele Cannon while giving her observations of the sentencing stated that Palliser sought to attack innocent persons via sending them a set of 45 pictures that showed different degrees of depravation. Theage.com.au published this, September 8, 2015.

Ms. Cannon described the matter as most disturbing since Palliser's earlier as well as latest crimes tried to seek the same objective. She said Palliser was an intelligent person as during his first arrest involving a remand for 124-days just gone he was given protection while going through severe circumstances following his confrontation with another person also under arrest.

Judge Cannon considered he was wholly alert and active and that his industriousness and earlier commitment to law were worthy of praise. She suggested the best possible healing be granted but decided jail for him with lengthy community service.
