Attorney Accused of Allegedly Watching Child Porn


George Bock Ditter (aged 65) an attorney engaged in work with a Pennsylvania law company is facing charges that he accessed as well as watched child pornography on his PC; thus published abajournal.com, November 5, 2015.

An affidavit submitted indicating the probable cause cites Ditter's statement that when he was collecting material online he needed to write a book he stumbled upon some child porn for which he developed an interest while got carried away.

Detectives belonging to Montgomery County of Maryland along with cops from Upper Gwynedd, Pennsylvania, the place of the law company, probed into the case.

Ditter, as accords to the law company, was engaged with it like one autonomous contractor; however, the partnership concluded 7th October.

Investigation, as per the affidavit, started whilst a person partnered with the law company told that Ditter had utilized one of the PCs there for acquiring child porn.

On 3rd October 2015, certain PC-virus became noticeable on the server of the law company following which a technology firm's services were solicited for locating the virus and eliminating it. While that was getting done, 2 sexually explicit pictures showing lonely teenaged boys got discovered on one specific drive shared on the PC-network. However, those pictorial files weren't responsible for the virus. Therefore according to the technology firm, it was Ditter who had loaded those files onto the said drive.

Moreover, when the technology firm probed Ditter's work-PC, it first unearthed plentiful picture searches based on phrases like "really young teen boys" along with some far more sexually open phrases for online searches. After this, the firm found many pictures on the PC's repository folder which were found as child abusive porn.

Law enforcement authorities acquired Ditter's work-PC along with more electronic storage gadgets over which a search order was executed 6th October, followed with confiscation of eleven items and discovery of many child porn pictures inside Ditter's system.

Court arranged for a $100,000 bail for Ditter, but eventually all the eleven criminal charges against him for trial got sent to the Court of Montgomery County. On January 6, 2016, his formal arraignment vis-à-vis the charges is expected.
