U.S President Denounces DNC Regarding Russian Hack

Ms. Donna Brazile ex-interim chairwoman of DNC (Democratic National Committee) made a statement July 15 that it was important President Donald Trump agreed with the charge by Department-of-Justice against twelve officials of Russian intelligence regarding attempts to access DNC e-mails in 2016, while requested the president for ensuring that the country didn't encounter such type of cyber-attack that tried to embezzle U.S election.

Brazile speaking in the program "This Week" of ABC said the e-mail hack had eventually been acknowledged as a crime. According to her, over the period of the hacking, it was difficult to convince anybody about the crime and so the country got no supportive action in defense.

During an interview on CBS News dated July 15, President Trump told Jeff Glor the Democrat National Committee should have done much more for preventing the hack on it. It showed their defenses were poor. The president continued that he got to know the same hackers tried targeting the Republicans as well; however, their defenses were much stronger. On July 13, Rod Rosenstein Deputy Attorney General had declared the indictment by Robert Mueller special counsel made vis-à-vis twelve officials of Russian military allegedly involved in the DNC hack. Politico.com posted this, July 15, 2018.

The online whistleblower WikiLeaks had exposed certain e-mails wherein some staffers of the party opposed to then Sen. Trump. At that time Brazile was appointed interim chair of DNC. Following the indictment, Trump said Russian President Vladimir Putin was not to be condemned. Instead he tweeted on July 14 that erstwhile president Barack Obama and his administration had failed in being responsive towards the 2016 election crisis.

Trump further accused Obama in the tweet dated July 14 that he didn't carry out necessary countermeasures vis-à-vis Russian parliament the Kremlin. The U.S President will be meeting his Russian counterpart on July 16 at Helsinki.

Trump wrote inside another tweet that the Russian meddling into U.S presidential election happened while the Obama administration ran. He blamed the Obama administration for not doing anything about the situation, particularly when President Obama reportedly received the information from FBI during pre-election in September.
