Student Installed Spying Software for Seizing Passwords, Altering Scores

Actually, the 21-year-old Omar along with one more pupil began infiltrating the offices of Tesoro High School during 2008 for planting the spyware, stealing tests as well as altering grades. Omar, with the spyware, determined the username and password the registrar and his physics teacher used. Thereafter, one night, Omar invaded the administration's systems for altering the transcript grades given to him along with the grades allotted to some other pupils after manipulating grade database software of the district. Soon, Omar requested for his transcripts' authorized copies, which enabled him to petition refusal correspondences from the University of California, Los Angeles, the University of California, Berkeley, and the University of Southern California. Tgdaily.com published this.

Now, Omar has admitted he carried out 2 criminal instances of commercial theft along with 1 instance each of stealing or wiping out public records, changing public records, and conspiring for stealing or wiping out public records. Expectedly, he'll be sentenced on August 26, 2011 at 9am inside the Central Justice Center, Santa Ana, to a month's incarceration, a 3-yr probation term, community service for 500-hrs, and over $14,900 as compensation to damages.
