News Corp Blamed for Initiating Hacking SoftwareA major media company, News Corp, having worldwide acclaim is entangled in a lawsuit for hiring a hacker to develop pirating software for satellite television and spying software also called Spyware, as reported by PCworld on April 24, 2008. The NDS Group allegedly paid Christopher Tarnovsky, the world's second most skilled computer hacker, to build pirating software for satellite television. The objective was to use the software to breach the security arrangements of a competing satellite television system. However, Tarnovsky said that his software was not applied to break into the DISH Network's satellite service, instead it was used to reverse the engineer programs.
