Students Hacked Systems to Increase Grades

Four students of a Texas based high school are being interrogated for hacking into the computer network of the Fort Bend Independent School District and altering at least 60 students' grades, according to school officials and court records, as reported by Chron on May 3, 2008.

The instance is the most recent incident of school hacking across the US over the past few years. There have been many incidents covering almost every region of the nation in which students at high schools, colleges and universities have been charged with tampering with computers, and then changing grades.
