Hackers Compromised Half a Million Websites in a New AttackAccording to Trend Micro, attackers gained control of over a half-million Websites in a fresh wave of malicious attacks through which several domains were hacked so that users' computers could be infected with malware. Paul Ferguson, Network Architect, Trend Micro, the vendor for anti-virus software said that the campaign was an ongoing incident where new domains harboring the malware emerged even on the last day. He further said that the domains were changing steadily, as reported by ComputerWorld on May 12, 2008.
