KSA Proves as Worst Malware Inclined Country in EMEA
The Internet Security Threat Report by Internet protection provider, Symantec, reveals that the KSA (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) has stepped ahead of the United Arab Emirates to be on top position with 33% rise in malicious activity on net per broadband user during the last six months in Europe, Africa and Middle East, as reported by AMEinfo on May 17, 2008.
According to the report, the Kingdom is currently occupying the 32nd place worldwide after climbing 28 places since June 2007. Also, globally the KSA was the 35th country in spewing malicious code, 41st in hosting spam zombies, 55th in hosting phishing Websites and 56th in harboring bots.
