Internal threats are More Harmful, Says Secure Computing CorporationOn May 29, 2008, an enterprise gateway security company, Secure Computing Corporation, disclosed the results of an IT Director Survey that showed a major concern about internal threats and also wide acceptance of the fact of being not prepared for Web attacks. As per the company, almost 80% of the 103 directors questioned said that internal threats are more harmful for their firm which they call as either unintentional information leaking or stealing of data voluntarily. On the other hand, only 17% say that the external attacks are proved to be more harmful. May be, it is because of the fact that around 37% of the respondents witnessed loss of confidential data last year.
