Small Companies are More Susceptible to Cyber AttacksOn June 2, 2008, Trend Micro Incorporated, an Internet content security provider, said that the employees of small businesses in the US, UK, Japan and Germany take maximum risks on the company's network as compared to their counterparts in larger enterprises. Trend Micro Researchers said that risky activities like browsing sites not related to work, accessing social networking sites, installing executable files, checking private mails and conducting online trading happen more in small companies. The researchers added that surprisingly, 32% of small companies' employees in UK accepted to have installed executable file that can lead to virus or Trojan attack and finally data or ID theft.
