Web Criminals Employ Sneaky Malware

The Security Analyst, McAfee's Avert Labs, Greg Day, revealed that the security companies witnessed a drop in the high-profile and high-volume attacks as they are unable to generate a large amount of money, as reported on June 19, 2008 by ComputerWeekly.

According to the researchers, malicious attacks are quickly identified by the security companies and the systems are provided protected immediately. Currently, the malicious attacks aim at damaging systems, acquiring control, stealing data and generating revenue.

Presently, web criminals aim at gaining control over a large number of systems and remain hidden for a longer period of time to make huge profits from identity thefts and spam relays.
