A News Variant of DNS Trojan Attacks Home Wireless RoutersSecurity Researchers at Secure Computing have discovered a new Trojan that hacks into the wireless routers of home computers to modify their DNS configurations and takes a user to the hacker's rogue DNS server. The malware is a modified version of the DNSChanger Trojan, which has been available on the Internet for some time. The researchers disclosed that the recent attack by the DNSChanger Trojan indirectly contaminates any system that makes a connection with the router. Moreover, home routers become an easy prey as many users don't lock them and even use their automated passwords for verification.
