New, Targeted & Hard-to-Crack Malware Attacks on the Rise
The anti-virus company F-Secure is warning computer users of the latest malware samples that are efficient and hard to crack. The Finnish company is also alerting that modern malware has specialized encryption, packing and blurring of prevailing families of exploits, backdoors, trojans and other potential threats that is conducted with industrial proficiency.
The computer security software and anti-virus company reported that it detected 900,000 pieces of malware by June 2008 end. This starkly contrasted with the 500,000 cases of detection it recorded by the close of 2007.
