FIRST Reveals Staggering Rise in Computer Hacking in China
The number of people in China, whose systems were compromised by criminals between 2006 and 2007, increased at a staggering rate of 2,125%, according to the report by the members of the 20th annual conference of FIRST, the Forum of Incident Response and Security Teams on June 25, 2008.
Thus, Head of China's Computer Emergency Response Team Co-ordination Center, Dr. Minghua Wang emphasized in the session on sophisticated approaches to fight the growing sophistication in Internet crime.
