Microsoft, HP Prevention Tools May Still Not Mitigate SQL Injections

According to reports received from various sources, since the start of 2008, many Websites have been attacked with hackers' SQL injections.

As security researchers describe it, an SQL injection attack is designed to direct a user from a particular Website to a malware-loaded site where the security of his computer is greatly compromised.

In this regard, the software giant Microsoft always claimed that its applications are invulnerable to malware attacks. However, it said that it still wished to provide its users with solutions that would enhance their protection from malware. Thus, Microsoft along with HP have developed three free software tools that would aid in detecting and preventing SQL injection attacks.
