Cyber Attacks Like Industrial Spying & Organized Crime on the RiseAccording to a warning outlined in the 'Threat Horizon 2010", a report by Information Security Forum (ISF), malicious threats consisting of attacks from industrial espionage and organized crime along with Web 2.0 vulnerabilities and mobile malware are constantly rising. The ISF said that there is a shift from indiscriminate attacks to targeted assaults by organized gangs of cyber criminals who are continuously developing sophisticated models to squeeze the economy and engage in money laundering. It further suggested that social engineering in combination with technically built attacks are also continuously used for stealing of credentials and other information to commit online fraud.
