Emirates More Vulnerable to Internet Attacks

As per the Security Technology Experts at Trend Micro, the UAE users are more vulnerable to Web based threats and Internet attacks are increasing tremendously.

Everyone from users using PCs at home to large companies is at risk from phishing - a condition when users divulge their personal details to attacks from series of systems infected with common virus.

Also, they have a major weapon called botnets - a group of systems infected with common virus that can be remotely controlled without the knowledge of their owners. Trend Micro further said that botnet activity is expanding dramatically in the Emirates region.
