Hospital Employees Deprived of Admin Rights to Keep Computers Secure
According to news reports, a non-profit making healthcare network Gwinnett Medical Center that offers various types of facilities and services to residents of Gwinnett County, GA and its surrounding areas, has decided to stop giving employees admin rights for their computers.
The decision follows the reports of manhandling admin rights by the employees of the Medical Center, according to networking and security officials associated with the Center.
The officials also stated that the prime objective behind the decision to wave off administrator rights of employees due to the problems of computer security that Gwinnett Medical Center facing with unauthorized installations of malware for a long time.
