Trojans Purport to Contain E-Tickets From Major US Airlines

Data security solutions and anti-virus software provider BitDefender announced that it detected a new wave of spam e-mails that targets computer users pretending to deliver e- tickets and invoices pertaining to an alleged "Buy Airplane Ticket Online" service.

However, the spam e-mails that include an attachment for e-ticket in the form of a .ZIP file serve a fresh and improved bundle of malware. Just like the attacks launched earlier in the summer of this year (2008), the new attack takes advantage of end of summer holidays, students' return to their schools as well as people's plans for a vacation for the year end.
