Trojan RogueSecurity - Most Dominant Malware in September 2008

According to the security company Fortinet, a family of trojans i.e. the RogueSecurity Trojan along with its variants was alone responsible for 61.5% of the total malware attacks during September 2008. Also, the Trojan and its modified versions had occupied the first four places in the company's list of malicious programs.

Moreover, of the two key rogue applications that formed the group of Trojan RogueSecurity, antivirus XP 2008 accounted for the 55.5% of the total 61.5% of group activity, while the second application, XP Security Center was responsible for the rest 6.0%.
