Kaspersky Released Malware Statistics for September 2008Due to the KSN (Kaspersky Security Network) activity during September 2008, two virus rankings were assembled. The first ranking displays the most famous adware, malware and other unnecessary programs, as per the number of systems they discovered containing Trojans, but their share decreased from 80% to 70%. Also, KSN declared that the earlier leader, Trojan.Win32.DNSChanger.ech, found nowhere and a completely new and unexpected piece of code acquired the first position. The new leader was discovered as Rootkit.Win32.Agent.cvx. Security experts detected it during August 2008 and it circulated across the net throughout the month. ยป SPAMfighter News - 08-10-2008 |
