Trial Security Update is Malicious Trojan, Warns MicrosoftAccording to a warning released by Microsoft on October 13, 2008, spammers are sending fraudulent e-mails that pretend to include legitimate and critical Windows security alerts. Moreover, the fake alerts claim to relating to a new trial of a private edition of a revised application for all Microsoft Windows OS users, said Microsoft, as reported by TechWorld on October 14, 2008. Furthermore, the e-mail directs the recipient to access a given attachment that in reality is a malicious Trojan program called Win32/Haxdoor.
