Adobe’s Serious Magic becomes Victim of Asprox Botnet

As reported by security firm SophosLabs, seriousmagic.com (owned by Adobe) has been infected by the automatic injection of SQL by Asprox botnet. With this, it has become the latest famous authentic website that is carrying links of several malware sites.

Security Experts at SophosLabs said that the malevolent infection is residing at the site hxxp://www.seriousmagic.com/help/tuts/tutorials.cfm?p=1. It instructs the browser of the user to install a malevolent file from a series of links that are known for containing the dangerous and attacking sites and this all is done in full secrecy. It is worth noting that Adobe acquired Serious Magic just two years ago and as per the records of whois, it is the owner of the seriousmagic.
