New Malware on Facebook Infecting UsersAccording to a new posting by security research company F-Secure, the firm has traced the sources of several pages on Facebook, a social networking Website, promising phony videos in attempts to infect users' computers, as reported by vnunet on October 17, 2008. F-Secure revealed that the latest malware attack spread through a malicious worm, which captures Facebook information, said the security analysts at F-Secure. And after capturing the user's private information, a message is sent to him/her from a friend who has already been infected. The message promises a link to a YouTube video.
