New ‘MacGuard’ Sending Early Alarms to Security Experts

As per news reports published by vnunet on October 17, 2008, software security company Sunbelt Software revealed that its security researchers had unearthed a Website that advertises an item known as 'MacGuard.'

Also, according to the reports, the product 'MacGuard' on sale alleges that it provides anti-virus and anti-spyware protections, and is capable of eliminating adware as well as prevents phishing attempts on OS X systems.
