Penn Student Imprisoned for 3 Months for Hacking University Server

As per the reports, in a rare case of hacking, a Penn University bio-engineering student was sentenced on October 21, 2008 for 3 months (90 days) imprisonment and 5 years probation for crashing a school server in 2006 by the federal court.

Further, the hearing in afternoon brings much surprise. The accused was crying; objection from the judge as the accused term it as unfair justice and cases of child pornography.

The reports revealed that the District Judge of US, Michael Baylson, sends Ryan Goldstein (22), of Ambler to 3 months halfway house coupled with 180 days of house arrest. Baylson also added that Ryan can serve his punishment during summer vacation or during the leave of absence from the school.
