Security Shield of Mac, Linux, BSD in Line of Hackers Attack
Eugene Kaspersky, the Russian Co-Founder and Chief of anti-virus Research at computer security firm Kaspersky Labs alerted computer users that threatening malware attacks would shortly burst the security shield of Linux and Macintosh users, as reported TechWorld on October 20, 2008.
Eugene further stated that Linux and Mac consumers would be targeted by cyber criminals and malware writers in the near future. According to him, though Mac and Linux are not as protective as users think and hackers have till date ignored them, but soon they would become insecure.
