Malware Threat Hitting UK’s Internet UsersAccording to the security firm INQ, a new and dangerous version of malware is infecting the computers in the UK. It gains the control over the browser of the infested PC and directs it to a bogus website that disguises itself as AVG's home page. INQ has found the fake link to be http://0fficial-page-com/AVG1, which tricks the victims by using '0' in '0fficial' instead of 'O'. The security firm stated that they are not certain about the source of the fake URL, but the dues that are paid to the fake site seems to be going to Russia.
