Deadly Virus Affecting Computers in Ethiopia

A newly emerged computer worm (virus) whose source has not yet been identified is damaging computer files all over the world. First spotted on September 22, 2008, this virus has created serious disruptions by attacking operating systems and office files.

The virus dubbed 'Dula@204' copies itself on executable files to corrupt various kinds of files. A number of experts have expressed frustration over the special attacking method used by the virus.

Eyal Ben gal, CEO of ETS Software, a global company enjoying Microsoft's certification, told Capital that this virus makes its copies in a fairly disruptive way, as reported by ETHIOPOLITICS on December 30, 2008.
