Arbor Network - Storm botnet is BackThe notorious Storm botnet has made a comeback after remaining inactive for several months in 2008. The botnet, which once had grown into a major network, is now rebuilding itself with a more endurable architecture using all the new malicious programs. Hence, it is creating possible hazards to infiltrate and shut down, said security researchers at Arbor Networks. In the past few weeks of January 2009, the researchers were trying to imagine the common features between the new Waledac botnet and the Storm botnet. But now the evidences show that the Waledac botnet is a reincarnation of Storm.
