Actually, a phishing e-mail was dispatched as it addressed an employee of Digital Bond by name as well as utilized a sender's id, which seemed to be of the founder and CEO Dale Peterson of Digital Bond. The fake electronic mail carried one PDF attachment.
The attached file displayed its name as 'Leveraging_Ethernet_Card_Vulnerabilities_in_Field_Devices.pdf.exe' that if viewed planted the spoolsvr.exe Trojan installer.
