A.Duie Pyle uses their customer service number for taking orders, and thus was able to stay functional.

Stuart Reed, Vice President at Nominet, told the SC Media that "communication... is a critical part of any incident response plan. As such, organizations should ensure that after the initial assessment is complete, active engagement with stakeholders and, crucially, any victims of the attack takes place promptly to minimize the impact of a breach". Reed added that informative and timely communications help hugely in repairing the trust of customers as well as to preserve the brand equity.

After discovering the cyber attack, the company was continuously working to restore their affected systems. By June 17 afternoon, the company has posted that all the Pyle LTL, Dedicated, Brokerage and Warehousing Services have been up and running; as well as its delivery trucks are out handling the business as usual.
