Disappointed GTA Gamers Targeted by Hackers

According to the online spam-blocking software service, ClearMyMail, on April 29, 2008, many gamers are targeted by a large number of spams offering free entry into a competition to win much glorified game, Grand Theft Auto IV (GTA) and PlayStation 3s.

The different levels of spam are seen in relation to Grand Theft Auto IV. However, in reality, these illegitimate mails contain viruses such as "Trojan Horse" and spyware, which aims to get financial details and to attack PCs of the victim. The Internet hackers utilized success of the game and targeted those gamers who failed to get a copy of GTA, reveals ClearMyMail's researchers.

Moreover, this spam scam proves very profitable for hackers and shows that how quickly and actively Internet criminals react to the news...
