Porn-Related Websites Creating The Greatest Threat on The Internet

In a study, conducted by Web of Trust (WOT) during March-May 2008, it was found that home and corporate users face an increased danger from Web related security threats like viruses, spyware, phishing attacks and browser exploits when browsing Websites containing adult content.

The study disclosed that these adult sites are threatening individuals and companies with high possibilities of data and financial loss along with damage to their networks and computers. Other hazardous sites that endangered the World Wide Web with malware are those that present software (26%) and entertainment like music, videos and games (14%).
