SaaS Model Used for Fraud ServicesAccording to the security specialists present at the 2008 RSA Conference Europe, newly organized ways of criminal activity on the net are raising threats of making fraud pass unhindered as well as undermining online traders and banks. Uri Rivner, Head of New Technologies at RSA, provider of internet security, shared new trends and data that the company's Anti-Fraud Command Center spotted after shutting down more than 100,000 phishing attacks, as reported by vnunet on October 28, 2008. Mr. Rivner warned that criminals are using a new trend of offering bogus services via a SaaS (software-as-a-service) model, being traded on internet forums and chat rooms.
