New Spamming Scheme Hijacking Users Accounts on FacebookAccording to reports published by Helzerman's Odd Bits on December 26, 2008, messages are being sent to Facebook users telling them that their photos have been put up on unfamiliar websites. Often users think that these messages are coming from trusted friends on their Facebook profile pages. However, since trust on friends is customary and because users get worried of having their pictures posted on unknown sites, they follow the link pointing to these sites and that is when trouble starts.
